We do not operate a "kennel" ...
our dogs all live in our home as cherished members of our family
and puppies are born & raised underfoot.

What do we expect?
Having a litter is not something we take lightly.
We breed because we are hoping to produce a show potential puppy for ourselves,
not as a source of income.
When we have puppies in the house it is a 24/7 job.
They require and deserve constant attention and stimulation.

We strive to place puppies in homes where they would be treated as they would here.

We expect:

That you read, understand and fulfill  the requires set out in our sales agreement.

That you will do everything in your power to help make this dog a part of your family.

That you keep in touch to inform us of the dog's well being, achievements, or issues.

If you are purchasing a "companion" puppy, it will be spayed/neutered.

You will also be expected to complete one level of obedience training.

Anything worth having ...is worth waiting for!
Please fill out our questionnaire to tell us about yourself and your family.
Then we'll make arrangements to discuss things further!
Even if we don't have puppies ...
chances are very good we'll know someone who does.

Puppies
When considering a Ridgeback ....
please keep in mind that Ridgebacks are very powerful, large dogs that
are independent thinkers.

*They can be quite stubborn, and are not well known for their reliability off leash*

They do have a protective instinct and we insist you attend obedience
classes and keep your dog well socialized.

Please visit our FAQ's page for answers to some common questions.

Most Ridgeback Clubs elaborate on the breed's characteristics on their websites.
